The school day

At Lantern Primary and Nursery our school day starts at 8.40am when the gate is opened. Any children joining us for Breakfast Club come through the main office door where they are greeted by a member of staff who takes them into the hall. Children attending breakfast club can arrive from 7.45am.

For children in Acorn and Willow class the class teacher will open the door at 8.50am and welcome the children. Children in Maple, Birch and Oak are greeted by a staff member from the class and walked into school.

The school gates close at 9:00am. Any arrivals after this time must come through the main office gate.

At the end of the school day, the gates open at 3:10pm and close at 3:30pm. Any collections after this time will be from the main reception area.
